The 1,000 year-old town of Tangermünde is one of those towns that have retained their medieval townscape to the present day. On a plateau over the mouth of the Tanger in the Elbe lies the old castle and the town that was built in its shelter some 800 years ago. Above it towers St. Stephanskirche with its 87 metre high North Tower, rallying the numerous towers and townhouses. Everything is surrounded by the town wall, whose brick red colour is reflected in the river’s waters.

A green oasis in the middle of the Hanseatic town of Stendal. The zoo is ideally located on the lake. Stendal Zoo allows young and old alike to see 500 animals from 75 different species. There are also many native species such as deer, red fox, eagle owls and even wolves. Children can feed and stroke the goats in the petting enclosure and then play in the surrounding adventure playground.
Our 25 m competition pool has a pleasant temperature and guarantees optimal swimming and competition conditions in 6 lanes. A heated outdoor pool is also available during the summer months. The competition pool also has 1 m and 3 m diving platforms which are extremely popular among our younger bathing guests.
We are especially proud of our wave pool with a connected water flume, waterfall and massage showers. We activate the big wave every 30 minutes. Another highlight of our complex is the 85 metre power slide. Kinderland is a paradise for our youngest bathing guests.
